Apple removed IPTV Smarters Pro in 2023. Search instead for "Smarters Player Lite" (free, by the same developer) or "GSE Smart IPTV". Both work identically with Emerald Stream.

"Authentication failed" error

Re-check your credentials exactly — case-sensitive. iOS auto-capitalisation can break things — turn off "Auto-Capitalisation" in iOS Settings → General → Keyboards before typing credentials. Or paste them from WhatsApp.

Streams won't load or buffer constantly

iOS devices need 10+ Mbps for HD, 25+ Mbps for 4K. Test speed using Speedtest app. Wi-Fi 6 routers work best with Apple devices. Try switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data temporarily to confirm the issue.

App drains battery quickly

Streaming HD/4K is intensive — battery drain is normal. Reduce brightness, enable Low Power Mode for casual viewing, or plug in for extended sessions. The app itself uses standard iOS streaming APIs efficiently.

AirPlay isn't working

Ensure both your iPhone/iPad and the AirPlay receiver (Apple TV / Smart TV) are on the same Wi-Fi network. Restart both devices. In the IPTV app, look for the AirPlay icon while playing a stream. Some streams may not support AirPlay due to DRM.

After major iOS updates, some apps need refreshing. Force-quit the app (swipe up + flick away). Restart iPhone. If still crashing, uninstall and reinstall from App Store. Your credentials remain — just re-enter them after reinstall.
